Welcome to the Palm Drive Capital blog!
Since 2014, we’ve had the privilege to work with amazing founders. While our portfolio has evolved over the years, our mission remains the same: to support the most innovative teams across the globe.
Who are we and what do we do?
We started Palm Drive Capital in 2014 with the principle that outstanding founders are everywhere. Prior to forming Palm Drive, we were classmates at Stanford who wanted to make an impact on the world. After several years on independent career paths, we came together in New York to open up shop. From day one, we have committed ourselves to investing in and developing the best companies, regardless of geography. We believe in the transformative power of venture capital and the importance of brave ideas.
From our humble beginnings as a small fund, we have grown our portfolio investments to over 95 companies on five continents. As we write today, we’re raising our third fund to back the most ambitious teams yet.
What is this space for?
Over the course of our three funds, we’ve learned from our successes and failures and refined how we invest — and we want to share this knowledge with fellow investors and future founders in the hope that we can continue to contribute to the VC ecosystem.
We want to use this blog to do a few things:
- Exchange ideas and experiences from our investment team
- Provide a platform for our companies and founders to share their stories
- Engage with the global entrepreneur ecosystem
To kick off the next few posts, we’ll be introducing our staff and interns who are on the front lines of finding, supporting, and growing the companies we work with.
